Producing and marketing oil and gas

Adzhip Karachaganak B.V. extracts, processes, and exports gas and oil via three distinct processing facilities and a comparable number of export channels. This gives Adzhip Karachaganak B.V. the flexibility to adapt to changes in the conditions of the gas and oil export market. In order to advance the area, The Venture makes use of cutting-edge, and occasionally groundbreaking, technologies. Asta has a novel high pressure sour gas injection system, for instance. Enhancing hydrocarbon recovery has been made possible by this injection plan, which has also generated substantial value for the Republic. In addition, Adzhip Karachaganak B.V. has dug some of Kazakhstan’s trickiest and deepest wells, including the country’s deepest multilateral well.

Delivering competitive energy to world markets

At first, all of the production was sold into Russia, but since June 2004, the majority of the liquids—roughly 80% of them are crude oil—have been exported to western markets. While some unstabilized condensate and all dry gas volumes are sold locally, the remaining amounts, such as raw gas and unstabilized condensate, continue to flow to Russia. The principal route for exporting crude oil is the CPC pipeline, which goes to Yuzhnaya Ozereyevka, a port on the Black Sea. The Atyrau-Samara pipeline, which links to the Russian Transneft system and provides access to the port of Primorsk as well as other European locations, is an additional crude oil outlet. Our export routes are described on the Export Routes page.
